Why Am I Getting Emails?
Organize Us uses emails for a few different reasons although the main email feature is the activity reports.

eMail Activity Report

Organize Us attempts to keep you updated about all of the recent activity, changes, tasks, and upcoming events in the best way possible.  Most of us live in email so email reminders are helpful, if not needed to keep us notified of what is going on in that less cluttered world outside of email.  These emails are not promotional in any way and are provided as a service/feature to our members.

When a member first signs up, their account is configured to receive nightly email activity reports.  These reports contain a summary of all of the changes that happened in the last day.  In addition, if there are events that are coming up in the next week, these are emailed also as a form of daily reminder.  If you have tasks from any of your areas, the email will also include a summary of these tasks.

Email activity reports are only sent when there has been activity or there are upcoming events in the next week.  Members may configure what triggers the activity reports by using the email settings in their profile.  These settings allow you to set if activity reports are emailed when there is activity and/or upcoming events.

In addition, members can have emails sent less frequently, or not at all, by setting the day of week settings.  These settings allow you to control which day of the week activity reports may be sent .  Organize Us will only send you activity reports on the days that you have selected.  When you have chosen less then daily, the activity reports that are sent will include the data from the days that reports aren't sent so that you don't miss any information.
