Recycle Bin
Organize Us uses a recycle bin to store pages that are deleted.  Each area has its own recycle bin available from the area home page by using the recycle bin command [].  The recycle bin lists all of the pages that were deleted in the area.  Organizers and the member who deleted a page can permanently destroy the page, or restore the page using the controls available from the recycle bin command.

Restore:
To restore a page that is in the recycle bin, select the restore icon[].  The page will be restored to its original location and you will be redirected to the restored page.

Destroy:
To permanently destroy a page that is in the recycle bin, select the destroy icon[].  You will be prompted to confirm that you want to destroy the page.  Destroy cannot be undone, so please make sure you no longer need the page before you destroy it.  After you confirm that you want to destroy the page, it will be completely removed from Organize Us.  When an object is destroyed, the object, all child objects and all files attached to any of those objects will be permanently deleted.

What is put in the recycle bin:
Currently the recycle bin supports page level objects like, Pages, Calendars, Discussions, Journals, Simple Lists, Task Lists, Blogs, Blog posts, Journal entries, Discussion Topics, and Folders.  When any of these objects are deleted, they are put into the recycle bin instead. Objects in the recycle bin will be preserved exactly, keeping the same data, including child objects and file attachments.

What is not put in the recycle bin:
Currently the recycle bin does not support sub objects or attachments.  When a member deletes an attachment, it will not be put in the recycle bin and instead will be permanently deleted from Organize Us.  When a member deletes a sub-object, like a calendar event, comment, task,  or list item it will not be put in the recycle bin and instead will be permanently deleted.
