Attachments
Organize Us supports members adding files and images to all objects.  The rich text editor provides a quick way to add and insert images that are already attached to the object.  The attachments command enabled members to see a list of all of the files that are attached to the object including their size and modified date.  If you have edit access to the object, then you will be able to delete existing attachments and add more attachments.

This dialog may look slightly different depending on the web browser and OS that you are using.

To Upload new files:
To add a new file, select the "browse" button, which will lead you to a file selector that will allow you to pick a file from your computer.

When you select a file, it will be added to the "To Be Uploaded" section.  If you want to upload multiple file, you can repeat the select process.  When you are done picking files, select the "OK" button to perform the upload.

If you change you mind, you can remove a file from the "To Be Uploaded" section by clicking on the remove icon [].

To Remove Existing Attachments:
Existing attach will be listed in the table with their size and modified date.  If you want to remove an existing attachment, select the delete button [].

Additional Details:
Organize Us will disallow certain types of files, such as html and script files, from being uploaded and reserves the right to remove, or quarantine, any files deemed inappropriate for our servers.  More specific can be found in the Terms of Use.

Areas can be configured with a disk space quota based on the type of area.  By default, most free areas area configured with a 25 Meg quota.  When you have used up this space, you will not be able to attach any new files to any objects.  Area organizers can see the quota and current usage in the area editor.  If you run out of space and need more, please contact support.

To help reduce the amount of disk space required, Organize Us will automatically compress images that are uploaded.  Most images will be reduced to a couple of Kilobytes instead of a couple of Megabytes.  This means that you cannot use Organize Us to store high resolution images.
